Adobe Illustrator Tutorials
After I finished my event poster project, I had nothing to do. So, I decided to learn some new tricks with Adobe Illustrator. I first went to my teachers website because he has multiple links to tutorials and walkthroughs. After scrolling through some, I found one that showed how to use the warp tool, twirl tool, pucker tool, bloat tool, scallop tool, crystallize tool, and wrinkle tool. All of these tools can be found when you click and hold the width tool. In the tutorial, it did not show how to create a particular object, it just showed you how to use it. So, I decided to make a shuriken type thing using the warp tool. After this, I created a new page in Illustrator and used all of the tools in one design. I have no idea what it is I created, but it looks pretty cool.
My Overall Opinion On Graphics One
My path to taking Graphics One began last year, when my friend told me to take it because it was easy. I was never one who enjoyed art, but my friend told me that it was more fun than art. So, I decided to take. If it's that awesome, why not. Well if hard work, strict deadlines, and dedication is fun, then this class is right up your alley. But for me, it took some getting used to. For the first few weeks, I really struggled. I got mostly B`s and C`s, and did not receive an A until mid October (not including the elements and principles of design project). That was really tough for me cause I was used to getting A's, and I just couldn't get any. But once I got that first A on the maze project, I had a death grip on this class and was not letting go. After that first A, I ripped of A after A and brought my grade up. However, doing this took lots of hard work. I am willing to bet that I was the hardest working student in my class. Most of my peers spent their free time goofing around, but I spent mine working on this website. Because of this, the people who goofed around have next to nothing done on their website and must finish all of it in the next day or so. The key to passing this class with a good grade is to always give it your all and spend free time wisely. This class taught me that if you are struggling in something, you do not just give up. Rather, you put in more work until you are satisfied at where you're at. And, I only have my teacher to thank for learning this lesson. He constantly pushed us and pressured us to get stuff done. Some people may view this as being mean, but I see it as preparing us for the real world. So, overall, if you put in good work, you will see good results. But, if you slack off and just glide along, you're gonna have a bad time.
